Q: Why did the chicken cross the road?

Please don't hate me after reading this... really =S


True story..


Dad came back with mom's car as it was in the workshop earlier today..he drove it back to test drive it 1 more time in case the air-conditioner is still not working. So then I had to drive my father to his car, which was at the workshop too. I turned right from my house and was facing a long stretch of road..with houses on both sides. As i shifted to 2nd gear and at this point, I was was close to the 1st house on my left, I saw a chicken..a very tall black chicken with patchy feathers on its neck area (Ayam kampong bahh..can't miss it..long legs and all.. lol) rummaging around the rubbish bin outside that house.


Any sensible person (Like me, yes) will at least slow down right? I did. Mind you, I wasn't driving fast ok! Maybe around 20km/h, 30 max I'd give. So after slowing the car, the chicken of course, startled by the loud sound by the Trooper, ran amok. LOL.


It ran across the road, which was to my right side. So I thought..well, maybe it has crossed the road.


Wrong move..


I guess the chicken hesitated in between running. I accelerated (slowly) and suddenly I felt a soft bump after I passed the house. I didn't see no signs of chicken to my right. I panicked.


Then I looked at the side mirror where dad was sitting..I saw red red stuff and black thingy. So I think out loud..OMG the chicken is dead (in Chinese) to which my dad confirmed "Ya, die already" after he turned his head to check it out...


My legs became nua...hands, shaky.


I just ran over a chicken...


I couldn't stop thinking about it and I felt so bad..I told Ching and Ming about it..Ching's advise helped a bit as I was feeling better. But what Ming said really pulled my guiltiness to the next level. Lol.


After I dropped dad by the road, I drove home. I knew that I did something terribly bad, I avoided using that stretch of road, in case someone saw me..oh god I hope not!!! =S I kam guan drive 1 damn big round to use the other road that links to my house.. and on my way home, I will still face the same stretch of road I used earlier this morning. =__________=


It didn't help..there, in front of me, I saw the 1/2 flattened 1/2 unflattened chicken in the middle of the road. AND. 2 or 3 medium sized chicken were roaming around that dead chicken. I thought the dead chicken was moving then I realised that the wind blew the feathers of it to make it look as if it was still moving.... hmmmm. Or was it my eyes?? lol.


Anyway, I told Ming that there were smaller chix around it and you know what he said? He said maybe thats the anak!!! OHMYYY.. I felt even scared and sad and...well a mixture of feelings =________=


But I'm OKAY now.. feeling much better. That chicken belongs...nay...Belonged to my friend's father.. lol. And a few years ago, he killed (accident) my Mickey too. My poor teenage dog was hit by his car (but didn't run over la) and he died within minutes. Mickey was just at the side of the road..dunno how that happened. My sis was there to witness though. I think. lol.


So in case that man accused me of doing that to his poorly kept, loose chicken, which should be kept in a proper fenced area (The fence doesn't look secured. lol holes and all) I'll use that against him. LOL. Not that I want to. lol..It was ages ago. And its not like I had the intention to kill that chicken right?


People tell me they've ran over animals like..frogs, cats and dogs, the usual as they just chiong ahhhh everytime they see a car coming...and the unusual one will be birds flying in front of their windscreen and snakes slithering on the road. But chicken?? That's first for me. LOL.


Ans: The chicken crossed the road so that it can get to the other side of it..but hesitated in between action. lol.

Not so relieved..

I managed to give 2 presentations and you can imagine how light I felt after that whole load!! Muk Muk's one was a lil over the board as I don't really know what I was saying.. It was as if I was in a trance and the words just came out.


I did Sal's presentation and I went first =___= oh whyyy! I made a few mistakes..the one which I shouldn't be making.... zzz I hope she takes into account that I went first... lol.. the rest of me peeps can learn from the mistake I made.. Fuhh


So 2 down!!!! 4 to go!!!

After Japanese class, I met Ching.. and apparently our friends, Kenny and Gabby were involved in an accident T_T Gabby was unscathed but Kenny got the full blow. Oh goshhh!!


But thank goodness hes alive..after what happened. He just had surgery.. the bones in his arm and leg were broken =S I hope there's nothing serious going on..


Gonna visit him tomorrow if Ching confirms.


I should be catching on my sleep.. I haven't slept since..my 1hr+ so called break just now. lol...excluding the short break I had on my way to and back from Uni..

I just had a nap. Hmm. I was supposed to do my Salbrina but Don and Beb texted me saying its extended. Lol. I’m back to my laid back self again - watching gg and himym. (this afternoon only).

So tonight, I shall make up for time loss.

Tonight, I shall sleep late and finish that piece of work!!!!

2 days ago I was in a state of shock-ness. I didn’t know I had to give 2 presentations – Mukul
and Sal’s – and I was panicking -__- what’s more, the website was still untouched since the last time I went out with Ming… fuhhh.. due wednesday!

I gotta really finish up Sal’s work. Or Mukul. Ughh. Readingssss!

Ouch!!

Darn it! I scalded my left hand while making coffee just now T__________T

Hurts so #$%^&!!!?@ bad!!


Putting aloe vera on it.. Don't know why its yellow..


Wait..Xiao Ming said one should not swear..haha..


70% of my left hand got scalded but that particular part of me hands was affected the most. I should have known the water will "bounce" back from the spoon when I pressed the PRESS button of that automatic vacuum flask T_______T I knew it!! I knew it!!!


2 blardy seconds of hot boiling water...SIGH!!!


Oh why did I ignore my instinct. lol

A few months back, I have been sending my friend, Jik, episodes of himym. I managed to get him to accept the file..(he was kinda free that time, I suppose) and after 4 hours of transferring an episode…

I must say, he enjoyed it. Give me a high 5! And I send him the following episodes every other day when we chat.

On some days, it was cool. The transfer rate was quite fast..it took us less than 2 hours! However, other days were reasonable… about 4 hours max. But other-other-other days took longer than 7 hours -_______________________-

And can you imagine.. when it was about 0.5cm more to finish transferring, his landlady switched off the broadband… NM. One time only..

But it went on...

And on...

Not only that.

I remember sending him the same episode twice -.- what a waste of time. Lol. ma bad~

There was 1 incident where its about..0.3cm more to finish transfer..then..

MY BROTHER SWITCHED OFF THE ROUTER!!!

GRAHH!!

We’re not talking about a small file.

Its friggin 175MB alright!!

So, obviously, after HOURS and HOURS of waiting.. I was very #$%^&* words couldn’t express how I feel. I was soooo pissed. LOL.

Ok, so that was months back.

I have managed to send episode 17 so far. I just hope Tina will be able to handle that big file. Kekeke.

I started my assignment...and I am very happy I finally made an effort to do it. Yeah, after sitting for the whole day yesterday and my bum is feeling very sore. Muscle hurts...just like it would after hiking =__________________=


And speaking of assignments again, I have to really work out on my 3 other HUGE assignments (I hope I am right that there's 3!) as I will be flying off in less than 4 weeks.
